Well we got final word. The apartment we’ve been wheelin’ and dealin’ on for the past month, is now officially a dead deal.
It’s a sad fact after we’ve gone back and forth between having the apartment, losing the apartment, then getting it again. Only to lose it to an ALL CASH offer. Ok, really who has enough cash lying around to flat out purchase and apt. in NYC? damn, I’m in the wrong profession!
But all in all, aside from the emotional rollercoaster, I’m ok with the end result. “If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be” -as someone once said, and this was not meant to be. The mortgage payment would have stretched us so maybe we don’t need that stress right now and something better will come along, I’m sure of it.
My wife is upset and hate that part of it, but she’ll be ok and we’ll find our home sweet home in this crazy city yet!
